Minimising Our Environmental Impact
We recognise that Diametric inevitably has an effect on the local community and we are committed to working hard to minimise this. We have introduced proactive recycling initiatives throughout our offices and production facilities and prioritise electronic communication wherever possible.
The installation of LED lighting and increased awareness by our staff and housekeeping teams helps us actively reduce our electricity consumption, which in turn allows us to contribute to reducing UK emissions.
ISO 14001 Certified Waste Management
Social and corporate responsibility extends to everything that is produced by a business and how it affects the environment, its people and the wider community. In recognition of our efforts, Diametric was awarded ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Standard).
This is the only certificate issued by an external certification authority that officially acknowledges our thorough and responsible waste management procedures.
Ethical Working Practices
We aim to act responsibly and consider the environment alongside other vital social, economic and ethical factors. This includes providing good, safe working conditions, fair wages and benefits, regulated working hours and strictly employing persons of the correct age in accordance with local labour laws.
We expect the exact same commitment from our supply chain and will not trade with any supplier who does not meet our strict standards of corporate social responsibility.
