Cost-Effective Precision High-Impact Results

Aluminium offers a highly cost-effective manufacturing route without ever compromising on quality, detail or colour accuracy.

The Manufacturing Process

Step 1: Printing & Preparation

We print your design onto the chosen base material (most commonly aluminium, though stainless steel and brass are also available). We use the latest printing methods from traditional dye-based anodising to high-resolution digital and litho techniques to accurately match your brand colours. We can also integrate sequential numbering and barcodes at this stage.

Step 2: Forming & Shaping

Your metallic nameplate or badge is then stamped out from the sheeting. Alternatively, we utilise advanced die-casting methods where a molten metal alloy is forced into a bespoke steel mould, allowing us to add custom textures and intricate 3D details.

Step 3: Finishing Touches

We apply your chosen visual finish. Options include brushed, spun, matt or polished surfaces. We can also provide a highly accurate diamond cutting service to add a detailed, ‘jewel-like’ finish that enhances the visual impact of the badge.

Step 4: Adhesives & Fixing

To complement the hardwearing durability of the nameplate we add the final fixings. Depending on your precise requirements and the final environment of the product, we can supply either robust mechanical fixings or high-performance self-adhesive backings.

What material options are available?

While aluminium is our most popular choice we also manufacture nameplates using stainless steel, brass and zinc depending on your exact requirements.

Yes. We can seamlessly integrate sequential numbering, barcodes and other variable data during the printing stage.

Our extensive range of processes includes die casting, where a molten metal alloy is poured into a bespoke steel tool. This mould allows us to add any custom texture required. The alloy solidifies almost instantly, creating a highly detailed and durable component.

We offer a variety of tailored fixing options to suit the end product. This includes heavy-duty mechanical fixings and specialist self-adhesive backings designed to withstand marine, automotive or oil industry environments.
