It was the perfect blend of high quality design and product excellence when bespoke badge manufacturer Diametric was contacted by the makers of the Aircraft Espresso range. The Italian coffee specialists wanted a first class, reputable company to create durable and distinctive aluminium badges to be applied to the front of their coffee machines.

The brief was for a high quality, long-lasting badge to be produced to a tight deadline. The badge had to withstand constant use, cleaning and high temperatures in the specific environment of a coffee machine and keep its overall appearance.
This was the first time for Diametric working with the brand and it was imperative that we got the specification right at the design stage, especially as there were no time to sample and test the badges first.
When Diametric received the initial request for information they sent the makers a product pack with samples, helping them select the most cost effective option to suit their requirements.
After the team received the go-ahead, Diametric worked quickly to create a product suited to the design. The distinctive badge is made up of bright aluminium with black anodised detail, and high bond adhesive, which is also temperature resistant.
Diametric delivered the badges to the specifications and on time for use on the coffee machines, which are used in domestic homes and by the catering industry around the world.
